Quantifying the Savings and Payback Opportunity
Properties that are scored highly in Phase II progress to an on-site investment-grade study. The study consists of a multi-day walk-through by a RealWinWin energy engineer who more specifically analyzes the costs and benefits of any proposed energy saving measures. Instead of back of the envelope estimates, Phase III undertakes a disciplined financial modeling, called NOI Builder®, an exercise that incorporates input from manufacturers, contractors and others. This financial modeling is based on Argus/DYNA data collected during Phase III, and on the PLQ's that were captured during the Building Triage® process.
